In this course, you will learn:
- What climate change and the greenhouse gas effect are
- What the current and future impacts of Climate Change are and how it is threatening the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Why climate change is a human rights issue and what Climate Justice is
In this course, you will learn:
- The difference between mitigation and adaptation
- Examples of what adaptation and mitigation activities entail
- About the history and role of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and COP (Conference of Parties)
- The importance of current climate data
In this course, you will learn:
- Why women and girls from the global south are most impacted by climate change
- Why they face a double injustice
- What can be done to address climate justice and ender justice globally and locally
